🌠 The Bell Between Blossoms and Stars

Once, long before moonflowers traced ribbons along hidden roadsides, there was a bell forged by lantern-keepers to guide lost wanderers back to their homes after festival nights. But the bell grew lonely, always calling others to go somewhere else, never having anyone linger to keep it company.

One festival eve, a girl wandered into its silent clearing. She knelt beside it and pressed her cheek against its bronze curve. She whispered,

“Thank you for guiding them, little bell. I will keep you company tonight.”

And so, for the first time, the bell rang not out of duty but of delight. Its note became softer, like silver-touched petals falling onto calm water. The girl fell asleep beneath it, lantern in her arms, the blossoms of dawn drifting down to blanket her in fragrant warmth. From then on, the bell sang in a gentler voice, calling not only to guide, but to welcome home.

May this bell’s song remind you that the place you’re searching for is not always far away. Sometimes, it is the glow already waiting within you, calling you gently home.

Tulla tends a garden of ribbons, soul-scrolls, and stories whispered under lanternlight. She writes not to explain, but to remember.
